25 Residents in Glodok Receive Covid-19 Vaccine Jab Every Day

We use jemput bola service in a bid to approach residents easily

Around 20 to 25 residents from Glodok Urban Village, West Jakarta receive Covid-19 vaccine shot every day in urban village offices through health workers of the Tamansari Sub-district Puskesmas.

Glodok Urban Village Vaccination Chairperson, Vika Chita Via said, this dynamic vaccination is a form of collaboration between the urban village and the Tamansari Sub-district Puskesmas which has been carried out since the beginning of last October.

"It involves five health workers for screening and injection. For registration, we have Satpol PP and PPSU," she expressed, Friday (10/22).

According to her, it is a form of jemput bola service (health workers to take the initiative to visit residents) to target people who have not been vaccinated. As for the vaccine used was Sinovac for the first and second shots.

"We use jemput bola service in a bid to approach residents easily," she said.

Novi (22), a resident of RT 01/03, Glodok Urban Village, admitted that she was happy that she was finally able to get a vaccine after giving birth.

"I appreciate the vaccination at this urban village office because it's easy to access," she admitted.
