North Jakarta Mayor Opens Fishermen Weather Field School

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim opened Fishermen Weather Field School 2021 which was held online and offline in Cilincing Sub-district Office's Hall.

Through this activity, he conveyed, fishermen can get guidance on weather information that is safe for fishing and can help them to increase their catch

This activity was participated by 100 fishermen on the coast of North Jakarta with competent speakers from Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

"The Fishermen Weather Field School 2021 will be held for three days. Some fishermen take a part in the activity virtually because it is still in a pandemic condition," he explained, Tuesday (11/2).

Through this activity, he conveyed, fishermen can get guidance on weather information that is safe for fishing and can help them to increase their catch.

"I hope this program can be continued and target all fishermen on the coast of North Jakarta. We also ask BMKG to give assistance in the future thus participants can have a forum to ask questions and discuss the weather forecast information needed for fishermen," he stated.
