North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim led rice harvest at North Jakarta Mayor Office Farm with area about 50 square meters.

He appreciated North Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency for its success in cultivating rice through urban farming method.

"I want this location can be also used as education center for students in North Jakarta to learn about plants, how to grow and harvest crops," he explained, Wednesday (10/27).

Meanwhile, North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Unang Rustanto added, in this activity, his side harvested IR 64 type of rice with growing season about 120 days.

"Following up instruction from Mayor, we will collaborate with North Jakarta Education Sub-agency to invite students to visit this location," he conveyed.
