Mochammad Yana Aditya Appointed New Director of Transjakarta

Mochammad Yana Aditya has appointed as a President Director of PT Transjakarta replacing Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo who died on October 3.

Aditya said, he would focus on programs that were already running or still in the preparation stage, including an integrated public transportation system, both physical and payment systems, presenting an electric bus fleet to improving safe and comfortable services.

"This is our focus, in accordance with the mandate of the Jakarta administration to PT Transjakarta," he expressed, Wednesday (11/10).

He explained, those three programs would be realized through solid cooperation among all the Insan Tije, Transjakarta thus they can run the good assignments mandated by the administration and corporate programs well together.

At this time, he added, PT Transjakarta is still preparing a fleet of electric buses which will gradually replace conventional buses.

"All preparations are being finalized thus everything goes smoothly and successfully with the hope that there will be no problems in the future," he explained.

He went on to say that the company is always trying to improve services from all aspects in the future. It was certainly in line with what was mandated by the administration to provide a safe, comfortable and affordable mode of transportation for the public.

"Efforts to improve services have always been the main focus for Transjakarta, as the best service is the key. We keep maximize a safe and comfortable service for all people," he stated.

For information, before joining PT Transjakarta, he had experience as a researcher for Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) and a journalist for SWA Economic Magazine.

He was also the Program Manager of the National Committee on Corporate Governance Policy (KNKCG) to the Executive Director of the Matsushita Gobel Education Foundation (YPMG).

Then he joined Capital Market Assurance Bank Mandiri, Assistant Vice President of Bank Permata, Executive Director of the Indonesian Board of Commissioners and Director (LKDI). His career then went uphill by serving as Corporate Secretary of Sahid Group and Finance Manager of Sahid Hotels.

Not only that, he later joined a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) as Finance Director of PT Balai Pustaka, Finance Director of PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia, President Commissioner of PT Phapros, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the RNI Pension Fund, and Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of PT PG Rajawali II. His next assignment in BUMN was appointed as President Director of PT Perikanan Nusantara (Perinus).
