Prepare Your Umbrellas, BMKG Forecasts Rain Today for Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour parts of Jakarta on Friday (11/26).

Remember, rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit South, and East Jakarta in the late afternoon

"Remember, rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit South, and East Jakarta in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

At noon, thunderstorm is expected in Central, East, North, and South Jakarta; rain with medium intensity in West Jakarta; and cloudy in Thousand Islands.

BMKG Forecasts Rain in Jakarta This Afternoon

At night, light rain will fall in West, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands; cloudy in Central, South and East Jakarta.

Entering at dawn, all regions of Jakarta would see cloudy.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 60 to 95 percent.
