E-Prix Co-Founder Affirms that Jakarta is Not the Only City that Pays Commitment Fee

Alberto Longo as Chief Competition Officer and Formula E (E-Prix) Co-founder emphasized that Jakarta is not the only city that pays commitment fee in the 8th electric car racing event (ABB FIA Formula E World Championship) which will be held in 2022. He conveyed that other cities that participated in this event also paid predetermined commitment fee.

"No. There are other cities that also pay commitment fee," he said in press conference related to readiness of Jakarta E-Prix 2022 in Menteng, Wednesday (11/24).
He mentioned that difference in cost is investment which paid by each cities.
Alberto Longo: Jakarta Doesn't Pay More for Formula E"The difference lies in racing cost. Investment cost incurred will certainly return to the related countries because we hold the event in those locations," he stated.
According to him, Formula E event will be enthusiastically welcomed by Indonesia Government and Jakarta Provincial Government and it will become one of Indonesia's big agendas in world-class racing championships.
"This is an honor for me. We work hard to get to this point. Many parties are involved in this collaboration. Thanks to support from president, governor, IMI, Jakpro, and others, we will hold E-Prix in Jakarta," he asserted.
