Juani Yusuf Appreciates Food Assistance Provided to Fishermen

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Juaini Yusuf appreciated social service which conducted by Komunitas Sahabat Kita 85 for distributing 641 ready-to-eat meals to residents in Kampung Nelayan (Fishermen Village), Cilincing Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district.

He assessed the social service was very helpful for fishermen who were having difficulty going to sea due to west monsoon winds.

"Social action of Komunitas Sahabat Kita 85 can be an example to help each other, especially during the pandemic," he conveyed in written statement, Wednesday (12/1).

Chairperson of Komunitas Sahabat Kita 85 , Tri Hanrayani mentioned, similar social services have been routinely held since February 2021 to various communities, such as fishermen, wardens, online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers, mosque caretakers, and orphans.

"This time, we coordinate with Vice Mayor thus assistance provided can be more on target and useful. Hopefully it can ease the burden on residents or fishermen thus they can smile happily," she said.

Meanwhile, RT 12/04 Secretary of Cilincing Urban Village, Hasyim expressed his gratitude for social service conducted by Komunitas Sahabat Kita 85.

"This social service is certainly a hope for fishermen. Moreover, difficulty of going to sea due to west monsoon had an impact to them. Hopefully other parties can also help us," he mentioned.
