Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Abdul Salam stated, data updating was carried out in 44 urban villages throughout Central Jakarta by Social Security Information and Data Center and Social Assistant. This data later will be used as a reference for intervention in programs related to strengthening and empowering people with disability.

"Currently there is Jakarta Card for People with Disability (KPDJ) program so we need a real and updated data. Because real and systematic data will make it easier for us to distribute aid on target," he explained, Tuesday (11/23).
Based on data that has been inputted, there are total 4,162 people with special needs in Central Jakarta. In detail, there are 314 people in Cempaka Putih Sub-district, 843 people in Johar Baru Sub-district, 706 people in Kemayoran, 376 people in Menteng Sub-district, 317 people in Sawah Besar Sub-district, 646 people in Senen Sub-district, 572 people in Tanah Abang Sub-district. But after going through data collection and selection process, total 4,143 people were approved to receive assistance.
"Verification is carried out thoroughly regardless of economic status. Previously, it also involved RT/RW and cadres to verify data validity in the field," he mentioned.
