Stories Behind 21#AksiHidupBaik Figures for Literacy Movement in Jakarta at #IniJakarta Event

Ibu Ibukota together with several communities that also involved in #AksiHidupBaik movement through collaboration with +Jakarta (Plus Jakarta), presented stories of 21 #AksiHidupBaik figures who promote the importance of literacy at #IniJakarta event held at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta on December 3, 4, and 5, 2021.
Hopefully they can be inspired and moved to do #AksiHidupBaik
The initiator of Ibu Ibukota Awards, Fery Farhati mentioned, these 21 figures were introduced through photo exhibition by photographer Denny Tjan and several illustrators, namely Puty Puar, Marissa Abdul, Sanjung, Saripursie, Luluk Nailufar, Oessella, and Ditut. Everyone can attend and enjoy #IniJakarta event for free while adhering to health protocols.
"Through this event, we hope citizens can learn the stories of 21 women activist figures in Jakarta. Hopefully they can be inspired and moved to do #AksiHidupBaik, besides, there are many interesting communities that are expected to attract citizens to contribute together in making Jakarta a better city," she said, Saturday (12/4).
Celebrating Collaboration, #IniJakarta Festival Brighten Up Lapangan Banteng This WeekendApart from visual story, there is also narrative story that tells stories and struggles of this year's 21 city figures. They are mothers who spread #AksiHidupBaik for the happiness and welfare of Jakarta citizens.
She mentioned that they are present as literacy activists who not only learn to enrich themselves but also want to share with their surrounding and are empowered to create a better civilization.
"Their enthusiasm is in line with the purpose of #IniJakarta event, which is to spread energy of collaboration as well as encourage various elements of society to play an active role," she added.
+Jakarta as a forum for collaboration is present to ignite people's enthusiasm by providing collaboration space for communities, opening up interactions, and introducing the movements they do.
For information, Ibu Ibukota Awards is a means of appreciation that raises stories of strong women figures of #AksiHidupBaik in Jakarta. Ibu Ibukota Awards was first held in 2019 and continues every year.
