The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is dredging the 40-meter long water channel on Jalan Tanjung Duren Raya, RT 01/06, Tanjung Duren Utara Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan, on Monday (12/6).
West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti said, it has been conducted since a week ago through six personnel of Grogol Petamburan Sub-district SDA Sub-agency Executing Unit.

According to her, around 30 to 40 cm of mud had been transported from the channel in order to accommodate rainwater in large quantities.
"After being dredged, water can flow smoothly to Gendong River Connecting Channel (Phb) and won't cause flooding," he stated.
