Ministry of Home Affairs Appreciates Thousand Islands Satpol PP Efforts in Enforcing Health Protocols

Thousand Islands Satpol PP received appreciation from Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) for Discipline and Active Reporting on the Implementation of Enforcement of COVID-19 Health Protocols.

This achievement is the result of hard work of all Thousand Islands Satpol PP personnel

Thousand Islands Satpol PP Head, Rahmat Effendi Lubis conveyed he was grateful for the appreciation given by Ministry of Home Affairs through Directorate General of Regional Administration Development, Safrizal ZA.

"We receive this appreciation yesterday at Ministry of Home Affairs Office. This achievement is the result of hard work of all Thousand Islands Satpol PP personnel as one of front lines in handling COVID-19," he said in written statement, Wednesday (12/8).

According to him, health protocols enforcement is one of the policies that must be carried out to prevent COVID-19 transmission. Especially in tourist destination such as Thousand Islands.

"We are still discipline in complying with health protocols. Although the cases tend to decrease, this pandemic has not been declared over," he stated.
