Job Fair Held at PGC Cililitan Opens 5,000 Job Vacancies

This Tuesday (12/7), East Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency held Job Fair at Cililitan Wholesale Center (PGC), Kramat Jati. There are 40 companies with total 5,000 job vacancies offered in this Job Fair which will be held until tomorrow.

East Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Sub-agency Head, Galuh Prasiwi stated, 40 companies participating in this job fair event were related to textile, multi-finance, automotive, marketing, IT, and other industries. There were also three training centers under Jakarta Disnakertrans, namely Pasar Rebo Industrial Development Job Training Center (PPKPI), Condet Special Job Training Center for Welding Development (PKPL) and East Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD).
"We expect this job fair will help job seekers. Besides, companies can also directly see the prospective workers needed. Of course, it can reduce the unemployment rate in Jakarta," she mentioned.
Manpower Agency to Simplify Employment Information ServicesJakarta Nakertrans and Energy Agency (Disnakertrans) Head, Andri Yansyah explained, this job fair was held to bring together job seekers and employers. It is planned that in 2022, similar activities will be held three times in each regions.
"We ask urban village and sub-district heads to help socialize job fair to the community. Thus more people know about this job fair," he conveyed.
PGC General Manager, Aqub Sudarsa conveyed his gratefulness for being involved in job fair event. PT. WCS as manager of PGC, he added, participated in this job fair and opened 200 job vacancies to be placed in PGC branches throughout Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) areas.
"This job fair applies health protocols. Before entering job fair area, everyone has their body temperature checked and is required to show vaccination certificate through PeduliLindungi application," he informed.
On the other hand, Salma Fauziah (18), one of job seekers, admitted she was very happy to participate in this event and would look for job vacancies according to her educational background, Food Production.
