The Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village won first place for CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment Sustainability) Category in the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award Event programmed by Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry in Ciputra Artpreneur, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana disclosed, the award event was participated by 1,831 tourist villages throughout Indonesia. There were 7 assessment categories, namely, tourist attraction, homestay, toilet, souvenir, digital village and creative content.

In the process, the winner had passed through a gradual selection from being nominated in the top 300. Then the next stage was obtained in the top 100 until finally the top 50 Best Tourism Villages were selected and were visited directly by Tourism and Creative Economy Minister, Sandiaga Salahudin Uno.
"We express our grateful and appreciation to all parties involved, namely SKPDs, urban village apparatus to mayors, especially the components of the surrounding community who have helped realize this result together," he added.
