26 New Mobile Trailer Pumps Function are Tested at UPT Alkal's Retention Basin

Technical Management Unit for Water Resources Equipment and Supplies (UPT Alkal SDA) tested 26 new mobile trailer pumps at retention basin located in the office yard, Friday (12/10).

There are 13 units with capacity 500 liters, 9 units with 250 liters, and 4 units with capacity 1,000 liters per second

UPT Alkal SDA Head, Yoserizal stated, 26 newly imported mobile trailer pumps were procurement in 2021. The source of procurement funds was from National Economic Recovery (PEN) managed by SDA Agency. Total budget allocated for procuring 26 mobile trailer pumps was around Rp 40 billion.

"Capacity of each mobile trailer pump units is varies. There are 13 units with capacity 500 liters, 9 units with 250 liters, and 4 units with capacity 1,000 liters per second," he informed.

Anticipating Floods, UPT Alkal Prepares 203 Heavy Equipment

According to him, 26 mobile trailer pumps will be distributed to five municipalities, where 2 units will be distributed to North Jakarta, 7 units to Central Jakarta, 4 units to South Jakarta, 9 units to West Jakarta, and 4 units to East Jakarta.

Moreover, all new mobile trailer pumps had been also tested last week. As the result, all those mobile pumps were in accordance with the specifications.

"Mobile pumps are procured to follow up request from SDA Sub-agency to handle flood and inundation," he conveyed.
