Tidal flood which occurred this Tuesday (12/7) morning around 10 AM on Jalan Lodan Raya, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta has gradually receded.

Ancol Urban Village Head, Rusmin conveyed, tidal flood caused inundation on Jalan Lodan Raya with water level ranging from 50-70 centimeters.
"Now it has receded. Until 15:00, water level only reaches 5-7 centimeters. Inundation was immediately handled by joint personnel, including to deploy pumps for draining flood water," he explained.

"Joint personnel from PPSU, North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, and Environment Sub-agency handle it as well as possible," he added.
He informed, residents who had previously been evacuated to the nearest evacuation site have now returned to their homes.
"Yesterday, we have appealed residents to be aware of tidal flood as stated by BMKG," he said.
As anticipatory step, he continued, his side had prepared evacuation sites in Al-Idhar Mosque, RT 01/08; Nurul Jannah Mosque RT 02/08; RW 08 Secretariat Office; Al-Barani Mosque in Sunda Kelapa Harbor area.
"If tidal flood lasts for a long time, Social Sub-agency will supply logistical needs for evacuees," he mentioned.
