"Hopefully, it continues to grow and can be a solution for the economic recovery of the surrounding community, open jobs and support national vision, namely, building Indonesia from the village. This creative village will inspire those who are expected to solve issues and bring benefits to the public," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

He hoped that all Jakarta people, especially creative village activists, could really maintain their enthusiasm and endurance in caring for and developing creative village.

"Creative Village is an energy that arises from the spirit of the public economy, which can't be separated from the values and spirit of its residents, thus it can develop ideas that essentially make useful and interesting things for others," he explained.

In other words, it is the public benefit that is expected in the short and long term to create a sustainable society's economic-social-cultural ecosystem.

"Government also supports economic recovery by prompting the formation of Creative Villages in several regions and provinces, which aim to attract domestic and foreign tourists to drive the economy of villages, sub-districts and regions in general," he explained.

He went on to say that tourism and creative economy are one of the strategic sectors of Indonesian economy. It is proven that Indonesia has a diversity of natural, cultural, historical and creative panoramas spread across villages from Sabang to Merauke. It is a potential that must be developed and empowered to improve the local economy in a bid to prosper the community.

As we know, Condet area has a close relationship with Betawi Culture in Jakarta and has a level of potential for Religious Culture, Education, Agrotourism, Ecotourism, Art and also Local Wisdom of the community supported by historical tourism which is very abundant

Condet Cultural Center, which is now the venue for the event is also a potential tourist destination; as well as a center for the community, especially art performers, to create and develop Betawi arts and culture under Jakarta Culture Agency.

Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henri Wardhana added, tourists who come to Condet area will get more information and local cultural wisdom, especially Betawi culture.

"Hopefully, Condet Cultural Center can be able to become a center for work and is increasingly being used by the community to develop Betawi culture," he hoped.

Meanwhile, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, also appreciated the initiative of the Indonesian Creative Village Association (ADKI) in organizing the National Socialization made by the Minister.

He also hoped that with the stipulation of a ministerial decree on guidelines for creative village development, could be used as a reference by ministries and institutions, local governments, associations, academics, the private sector and all related stakeholders in supporting the development of Creative Villages, one of which is Condet area.

"Alhamdulillah, we can realize it amid the pandemic. We have to get up soon. We want to see the creative side of villages throughout Indonesia. Not only outside the city but also like this Condet in the midst of urban society," he uttered.

As for the information, Creative Village is an area located in administrative area of village/urban village, where the community has developed superior products in one or more out of 17 creative economy sub-sectors that provide added value and benefits for village economic growth.

Based on the level of development, creative village is divided into four categories, namely initiative, productive, innovative and sustainable. It is based on several indicators, namely product, marketing, human resources, mentoring and collaboration, institutions, infrastructure, digital technology and finance.

By so, the ministry is fully committed to working on the Creative Village program through the development of superior products and a village creative economy ecosystem that synergizes with across ministries and agencies, local governments, associations, academics, private sectors and all related stakeholders.

It is in line with RPJMN for Creative Economy 2020 - 2024, which focuses on creating superior creative clusters and increasing added value and competitiveness of the creative economy. Besides being able to improve the economic level of village/urban village, it is expected to uphold local wisdom, increase village dignity and pride, and be inclusive and fair.
