Total 94 infiltration wells that were built in 5 urban villages in Ceger Urban Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta, had been completed.

Ceger Urban Village Head, Suratno conveyed, 94 infiltration wells were built by Cipayung Sub-district SDA PPSU personnel with depth 3-20 meters using drilling machine.
According to him, residents really feel the benefits of those infiltration wells in overcoming inundation in their areas. For example, infiltration wells located on Jl. H. Soleh and Gang Buah, RT 02/02.
72 Infiltration Wells Built in CipayungIn these locations, there were 10 infiltration wells built with depth 3 meters. Previously, when entering rainy season, inundation could reach 50 centimeters high, but now it only reach about 10 centimeters and it recedes quickly.
"Because people feel the benefits, now they ask for another 30 infiltration wells in the area. We are currently finding the proper points for those infiltration wells. Regarding drilling machine, we will also coordinate it with sub-district SDA," he mentioned, Monday (12/13).
RT 02/02 Ceger Head, Aas Syahiddin stated, before infiltration wells built, inundation in the area could reach 50 centimeters and receded for about three hours. Now, within 30 minutes, inundation has receded.
"Before, residents were very disturbed by stagnant water that took a long time to recede. But now, inundation is quickly resolved by 10 infiltration wells in our neighborhood," he explained.
