190 Students of SDN Mangga Dua Selatan 01 Pagi Receive Covid-19 Vaccine Shots

Central Jakarta Education I Sub-agency Head, Slamet said, Covid-19 vaccination drive for children aged 6-11 today are provided in four state schools spread over Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/14).

Happy to get vaccinated and hopefully I can attend face-to-face learning at school like before

Those four state schools were SDN Mangga Dua Selatan 01 Pagi, SDN Bendungan Hilir 01 Pagi, SDN Cideng 02 Pagi, and SDN Menteng 03 Pagi.

"Especially at SDN Mangga Dua Selatan 01 Pagi, Jalan Spirit No. 89, RW 11 Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar, we have managed to serve around 190 students," he expressed.

375 Elementary Students Targeted to Be Vaccinated at SDN Susukan

It followed by SDN Bendungan Hilir 01 Pagi (97 students), SDN Cideng 02 Pagi (67 students), and SDN Menteng 03 Pagi (128 students). They received Sinovac vaccine.

"Vaccination schedules in other schools are still waiting for directions of Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency. In total, we have touched 76,000 students," he stated.

Sawah Besar Sub-district Head, Prasetyo was very supportive of this vaccination in order to expand vaccination coverage, especially for children.

"So, parents don't hesitate to bring your children for vaccines, as this is for their health and able to protect them from Covid-19," he stressed.

Rosi (11), one of fifth grade students at SDN Mangga Dua Selatan 01 Pagi admitted, there was no pain when being vaccinated.

"Happy to get vaccinated and hopefully I can attend face-to-face learning at school like before," she admitted.
