Before getting vaccinated using Sinovac, every student must go through checking body temperature, washing hands, wearing masks and keeping a distance from each other.

Makasar Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Fiena Fitriah said, at the location, PCR swabs and antigens were also provided, especially for students who could not or had problems getting vaccinated.

"Those who received the vaccine reached 500. For those who have not been vaccinated will be scheduled the next day with parental consent," she said.

To maximize vaccination, she involved 16 health workers who served as vaccinators, screening, admin, field coordination and swab officers.

"It doesn't include health workers from the army and police," she explained.

Putri (8), one of 2nd grader students at SDN 01 Kebon Pala admitted, she was excited about getting vaccinated. Moreover, she did not feel afraid when being injected, as the health workers were friendly and kind.

"A bit nervous. But it doesn't hurt like being bitten by an ant, after that it's normal again," she admitted.
