Residential Scale Centralized Domestic Wastewater Treatment System (SPALD-T) which constructed in area around RPTRA Kembangan, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, West Jakarta, has now reached 99 percent.

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency's Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Infrastructure Development Section Head, Robby Dwi Mariansyah stated, the residential scale SPALD-T was constructed by connecting wastewater sources from residential houses such as toilets, bathrooms, sinks, diswashers, and others through underground piping system to Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) which built on land owned by Jakarta Government.

He added that SPALD-T for residential scale was built on land near RPTRA Kembangan as a form of wastewater treatment service to improve public health and quality of environment around the location.
"The construction progress has reached 99 percent. This SPALD-T is predicted to be ready to operate by the end of this year or early January 2022," he explained.
