280 Children Aged 6-11 Years in Petamburan Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Total 280 children aged 6-11 years took COVID-19 vaccination on Jalan Petamburan II No. 33, RT 09/03, Petamburan Urban Village, Tanah Abang Sub-district, Central Jakarta.

This is one of our effort to reduce the risk of being exposed to COVID-19

Petamburan Urban Village Head, Setiyanto conveyed, in order to accelerate the first vaccination, his side collaborated with Central Jakarta Police to hold vaccination service for children.

"Today, there are 254 students from SDN Petamburan 05, SDN Petamburan 01, SDN Petamburan 03, and students from Hayatul Islam Foundation. There are also 26 children whol live in the neighborhood who have registered for vacination. Children and their parents seemed enthusiastic about this vaccination," he said, Tuesday (12/21).

Health Agency Prepares Vaccination Sites Outside School

Stages of vaccination services for children are the same as vaccination for adults, namely, registration, medical examination, and administering vaccine using the Sinovac vaccine type. The vaccinator team consisted of four people from Central Jakarta Police.

Meanwhile, one of the parents, Raysa (35) admitted that she agreed that her child should be vaccinated to at least reduce the risk of dangerous impact of COVID-19.

"This is one of our effort to reduce the risk of being exposed to COVID-19. Earlier, my son was not afraid at all when he was injected. We are a family who have been exposed to COVID-19, so my son already understands the dangers of COVID-19, so he doesn't need to be persuaded anymore," she mentioned.
