8 RWs in Central Jakarta Announced as Pilot of KAMSA Program

Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency announced 8 RWs in Central Jakarta as pilot of Population Administration Awareness Village Movement (KAMSA) program.

Those 8 RWs are RW 01, Cideng Urban Village; RW 07, Karang Anyar Urban Village; RW 02, Harapan Mulia Urban Village; RW 05, Kenari Urban Village; RW 02 Rawasari Urban Village; RW 01,  Menteng Urban Village; RW 02, Gelora Urban Village; dan RW 07, Johar Baru Urban Village.

Jakarta Dukcapil Agency H ead, Budi Awaludin conveyed, previously his side had also announced pilot RWs for KAMSA program in East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta.

East Jakarta Dukcapil Forms 10 Pilot RWs for KAMSA Program

"Central Jakarta is the fourth location for KAMSA implementation," he said during the event held at Mayor Office, Friday (12/31).

He stated that KAMSA was mandate from Law No. 24/2013 on Amendments to Law No. 23/2006 concerning Population Administration.

"Referring to the regulation, the regional government is obliged to provide population administration (adminduk) service for all residents, both local residents and newcomers," he explained.

According to him, KAMSA was one of his effort to implement Indonesia Movement for Population Administration Awareness (GISA) as regulated in Minister of Home Affairs Instruction No. 470/837/SJ.

"Through KAMSA, pilot RWs are expected to achieve 100 percent target, including Family Card (KK), e-ID card (e-KTP), Child Identity Card (KIA), death certificate within three months," he mentioned.

In order to achieve the target, Dukcapil officers will open service post in each RW.

"We will continue to optimize door-to-door service. We are committed to making Jakarta residents orderly in taking care their Adminduk documents through fast, easy, and free service," he asserted.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma conveyed, population administration is very important to take care of many other needs.

"I positively welcome and appreciate innovation of KAMSA. I optimistic that target for completion in 10 RWs in Central Jakarta within 3 months can be completed in one month," he affirmed.

Meanwhile, RW 02 Head, Harapan Mulia Urban Village Head, Herliana stated, she was excited about adminduk door-to-door service through KAMSA.

"It will facilitate our residents and make them become orderly in taking care population administration which is very essential for database that will be used to distribute assistance from government," he closed.
