Covid Vaccination for Children Aged 6-11 in Karang Anyar Reaches 60.86 Percent

The Karang Anyar Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta has given Covid-19 vaccination services to around 1,781 children aged 6-11 or 60.86 percent. It is targeted to vaccinate about 2,935 children in first shot.

Thus far, the response from the community and parents is also quite good by taking their children to get vaccinated

Karang Anyar Urban Village Acting Head, Arif Lingga Pratama said, the service is still ongoing by involving health workers under Sawah Besar Sub-district Puskesmas.

"It is done at Sawah Besar Sub-district Puskesmas. We previously also did the same at SDN 03, 04 and 07 Karang Anyar," he expressed, Tuesday (1/4).

Despite it has yet to hit 75 percent, the socialization and invitation to the public about vaccination is still being intensified together with PKK cadres, LMK and RT/RW caretakers.

"Thus far, the response from the community and parents is also quite good by taking their children to get vaccinated," he stated.
