Kebon Melati Intensifies Covid Vaccine Shots for Children Aged 6-11

The Kebon Melati Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta provides Covid-19 vaccine shots for children aged 6-11 at RW 17 Post, Jalan Awaludin II, RT 02/17, on Wednesday (1/5).

In Kebon Sirih, percentage of vaccinations for children aged 6-11 has touched 75 percent

Kebon Melati Urban Village Head, Winetrin expressed, it was carried out to ensure children who have not received vaccines at school. In the near future, similar action would also be held in RW 14 and 16.

"In Kebon Sirih, percentage of vaccinations for children aged 6-11 has touched 75 percent," she expressed.

400 Children Vaccinated Today in Two Schools in Matraman

According to her, it targeted between 150-200 children with service hours at 8 AM to 12 PM.

"We have four health workers here. This is done to create herd immunity in schools. We also continue to educate parents to take their children to get vaccines," he said.

Syahir (44), one of parents who brought his child to get vaccines at RW 17 Post admitted that his son, Ali Hasani (8) just wanted to be vaccinated today.

"My son should have been vaccinated at school, but his condition was not possible after being circumcised. Alhamdulillah, he was vaccinated today, especially we got the basic food packages," he admitted, while smiling.
