Transjakarta Adjusts its Operating Hours During PPKM Level 2

Following the government's decision about PPKM Level 2 status in the capital, the city-owned bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has adjusted its operating hours.

Angelina Betris, Acting Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Head of PT Transjakarta said, starting on Friday (1/7), the bus would operate at 5 AM to 9.30 PM and night service at 9.30 PM to 11.30 PM.

"Today the service is still normal at 5 AM to 10 PM and night service at 10.01 to 12 AM," she expressed, Thursday (1/6).

She explained, it was to follow up on Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head's Decree number 3/2022 on Technical Instructions for Setting Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities During PPKM Level 2.

"Jakartans can enjoy non-BRT and mikotrans services from 5 AM to 8 PM," he explained.

She went on to say that it would be promoted directly to the commuters and via Transjakarta's official social media and mass media.

"Hopefully, people can get comprehensive information and customize the trip. Certainly, we'll continue to update other changes regularly," she continued.

She added, there was no change in Transjakarta's transportation capacity but still serving 100 percent of customers by implementing strict health protocols.

"We are still trying to serve people maximally. We call on them to comply with all applicable regulations thus they can do activities safely and comfortably with Transjakarta," he stated.
