Sidewalk alongside Jalan Abdul Rahman Saleh Being Improved

The Senen Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit, Central Jakarta is repairing the damaged sidewalk alongside Jalan Abdul Rahman Saleh, RT 08/01, Senen Urban Village, precisely in front of the Stovia Building.

We have been working on it since Wednesday (1/5) and it is targeted to be completed on Tuesday (1/11)

Senen Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Seno Muhajir disclosed, it was carried out to follow up on residents' aspiration conveyed in the Musrenbang forum. Previously, the sidewalk was damaged due to frequent traffic by two-wheeled riders thus it could endanger pedestrians passing by.

"We have been working on it since Wednesday (1/5) and it is targeted to be completed on Tuesday (1/11)," he expressed, Friday (1/7).

He added, the contour of the 50x2.1-meter sidewalk was also added to make it higher than the road. The paving blocks and canteens were replaced with new ones, including installing disability-friendly paving blocks.

"This is done to make it neater and can function again as before," he closed.
