COVID-19 Vaccines Given to Hundreds of Students from SDN Cilangkap 03

Hundreds of students from SDN Cilangkap 03 Pagi, Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta, received COVID-19 vaccine shot held by local Puskesmas, on Monday (1/17).

Hope all students get vaccinated

Cilangkap Urban Village Head, Nasir Sugiar said, today's vaccination was aimed to suppress the soaring number of positive COVID-19 cases in schools. By so, they could participate in the face-to-face learning (PTM) 100 percent safely and comfortably.

"Hope all students get vaccinated," he said, when he monitored the vaccination at SDN Cilangkap 03.

In its implementation, it involved about 10 Puskesmas health workers assisted by teachers, TP PKK cadres, RPTRA caretakers to PPSU members. Some were in charge of helping with registration, printing out vaccine certificates, managing the flow of entry and exit for students and parents to measuring body temperature.

SDN Cilangkap 03 Principal, Nurwati admitted, it will be held until tomorrow. The number of students registered reached about 732, consisting of 399 men and 333 women. From that number, 458 had received second shot and 221 others received first shot, while the rest had been vaccinated outside school.

"Our target today is 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. Then tomorrow, it will be continued with 4th, 5th and 6th graders. So far no problems," she concluded.
