North Jakarta PPKUKM to Provide Cheap Cooking Oil at Rp 14,000/liter

The North Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency is planning to provide cheap cooking oil at Rp 14,000 per liter tomorrow, Tuesday (1/18), starting from 8 AM to finish.

It aims to calm consumers amid a hike in market prices of the staple good amounting to Rp 20,000 per liter

It will be held at the Cilincing Sub-district Office Hall, Jalan Sungai Landak No. 7, Cilincing Urban Village, North Jakarta.

Trade Division Head, Andini Sutianti expressed, it was realized in collaboration with PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources Technology Tbk, Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, and Trade Ministry.

"It aims to calm consumers amid a hike in market prices of the staple good amounting to Rp 20,000 per liter," she expressed.

According to her, the public could buy one-liter packaged cooking oil for Rp 14,000/liter and are only allowed to buy a maximum of two packages.

"This is only one day and we only get a quota of 3,000 liters of packaged cooking oil," she stated.
