Progress of sidewalk arrangement work which carried out since January 12 on Jalan Teuku Umar RT 10 RW 05, Menteng Urban Village, Menteng, North Jakarta, has now reached 50 percent.

Menteng Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Head, Bogi Widiatmaji explained, sidewalk arrangement was conducted by installing paving blocks along 80 meters with 2.2 meters width.

"The progress has reached 40 meters or 50 percent," he informed, Wednesday (1/19).

In this work, his side also replaced the old concrete curbs on the sidewalk. He hopesd, the sidewalk arrangement could provide a sense of security and comfort for pedestrians.

"We are targeting to finish the work in this week," he said.
