Flood in Cengkareng Barat has Receded

Flood that previously inundated RT 11/03, Cengkareng Barat, Cengkareng, West Jakarta as high as 40 centimeters due to heavy rainfall on Wednesday (1/19) is now gradually receding to 10-20 centimeters.

It has receded gradually since yesterday afternoon

Cengkareng Sub-district Head, Ahmad Faqih mentioned, the flood gradually receded from 16:00 yesterday after being drained by mobile pumps and floating pumps to be flowed into Semongol River.

"It has receded gradually since yesterday afternoon," he conveyed, Thursday (1/20).

According to him, flood is still being drained by West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency. Besides, standing water on the KFT Complex, RT 03/11, Cengkareng Barat is also inundated from 40 centimeters to 10-20 centimeters.

"This area is inundated due to overflow of the Apuran River when it rained two days ago," he explained.
