Channel Dredging Work on Jalan Batang Hari will Be Completed This Month

The channel dredging work which carried out since January 6 on Jalan Batang hari, RW 05, Cideng Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta was targeted to finish by the end of this month.
Currently, we have dredged channel as long as 235 meters and transported 42.3 cubic meters mud
Gambir Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit Head, Muhammad Imawan said, channel dredging progress has reached 66 percent or 235 meters of total length 355 meters.
"Currently, we have dredged channel as long as 235 meters and transported 42.3 cubic meters mud," he informed, Friday (1/21).
Water Channel on Jl. Prof. Dr. Satrio DredgedAccording to him, it has width 60 centimeters and depth 70 centimeters with mud as thick as 40 centimeters.
"We deploy 10 personnel to dredge the channel," he mentioned.
Moreover, his side is also repairing damaged parts of channel along 7 meters. Personnel repair it manually using hoe, crowbar, shovel, plastic sack, and others.
"After being dredged, I hope residents can maintain its cleanliness," he stated.
