JIS Construction Hits 95.88 Percent

Entering the 126th week, the progress of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) construction work has reached 95.88 percent, exceeding the initial target of 93.98 percent or experiencing a positive deviation about 2 percent.

We also use LED lights in rooms and parks around the stadium area to save more energy

PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Corporate Secretary Division Head, Nadia Diposanjoyo mentioned, JIS is currently being installed with ETFE membrane roof, retractable roof, sky view deck, and work on the main field area.

Moreover, there are also installation for precast tribune, regular tribune seats, main field lighting, and pro sound in the main field. Improvements are also made in concourse area, such as railings, ablution areas, grand stairs, and turnstiles.

JIS is Temporarily Closed for Public Visit

"Then, there is completion of architectural work, from walls, stairs, floors, ceilings, paint, and MEP areas under stadium tribune," she said, Friday (2/4).

So far, she explained, Jakpro has succeeded in installing 1,080 solar panels in JIS as an effort to save energy using renewable energy that is environmentally friendly.

Solar panels utilizes sunlight to produce electrical energy. This is in line with green building concept.

"We also use LED lights in rooms and parks around the stadium area to save more energy," she added.

She conveyed that PT. Jakpro really appreciates supports from Jakartans and all stakeholders involved in JIS construction work, especially Jakarta Government for directing and assisting in accelerating this historic development.

"Just a little bit more towards perfect development. It's an amazing job," she expressed.
