East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Muchtar Zakaria has noted that fire socialization has been conducted in 11,902 locations. It is carried out in 10 sub-districtcs and 65 urban villages through 11,934 personnel from January to December 2021.

While Prevention Division Head, Edi Parwoko added, from 11,902 locations, 2,970 were houses, 8,758 were neighborhood streets, and 174 were educational institutions.

To smoothen it, his party involved around 1,449 cars and 5,207 motorbikes with 11,934 personnel.

"This socialization is about how to prevent and handle the fire, including health protocols in a bid to curb the transmissions of Covid-19," he expressed.

He explained, in January, it was conducted in 832 locations, followed by 1,263 locations in February, 1,568 locations in March, 1,029 locations in April, 1,131 locations in May, 1,139 locations in June, 1,098 locations in July, 936 locations in August, 942 locations in September, 754 locations in October, 554 locations in November, and 656 locations in December.

In executing socialization to the public, personnel went around the village using a car or a motorbike and used loudspeakers in the mosque or prayer room (musala).

"After conducting socialization, firefighters always distribute pamphlets and put stickers in strategic places that are easily seen by many people," he concluded.
