Library Division Head, Iwan Hery Susanto said the reading facilities distributed were a proposal from the 2021 Development and Planning Forum (Musrenbang). Each location received one unit of shelves and one hundred books.

"We have distributed all the shelves to each location, while the book is in progress," he expressed, Monday (2/14).

He explained its distribution had already started and would be completed gradually to each location. It is also part of the literacy program of the Literacy Short Family Initiative (IKRA) in 2022. Those books that were starting to be distributed were themed on children's stories, skills, and general knowledge.

According to the IKRA program, mothers were expected to be able to carry out their role in reading books and interacting with families about book materials in their respective homes.

"Reading with family at home can protect us from Covid-19 and fill togetherness by improving our knowledge," he stated.
