Seribu Islands to Hold Virtual Storytelling Tomorrow

The Seribu Islands Library and Archive Technical Working Unit 1 is set to hold a virtual Kepulauan Seribu Mendongeng (Seribu Islands Storytelling) on Wednesday (2/2) tomorrow.

This is part of an educational and entertainment program through fairy tales to children that are hosted by a virtual librarian

Windarwati, Division Head of Seribu Islands Library and Archive Technical Working Unit 1 said it was conducted in the context of promotion programs and public services thus people are more interested in coming to the library and increasing children's reading interest amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

"This is part of an educational and entertainment program through fairy tales to children that are hosted by a virtual librarian," she expressed, Tuesday (2/1).

According to her, it will be held at 1 PM tomorrow with a host named Kak Nasuhi under the title Bangau dan Kepiting (Crane and Crab). It would be broadcast live via Instagram account @perpustakaankep.ribu and Youtube channel account @Perpustakaan Kepulauan Seribu for those who did not have time to follow it live.

"Sources of stories or fairy tales that will be presented are collections of books from libraries, YouTube, electronic books such as iJakarta, iPusnas and Let's Read," she stated.
