The North Jakarta Welfare and Family Movement Team (TP PKK) distributed stunting prevention equipment from PT Palyja to the integrated health services post (Posyandu) in Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district.

Types of equipment provided were toddler weighing and toddler's height measuring devices.

North Jakarta TP PKK Pokja IV Member, Ida Rohani said her party also received CSR assistance from Unilever in the form of packaged juice drinks, as well as hand sanitizer and face masks from the North Jakarta TP PKK for children who would take the vaccination at Taman Sena RPTRA.

"We send the assistance to Semper Barat, Cilincing Sub-district and also other locations that are pilot stunting reductions in Pademangan and Penjaringan areas," she expressed, Tuesday (2/15).

She hoped that it could motivate the Posyandu cadres to be more enthusiastic in providing health services and monitoring the health development of toddlers. By so, the stunting alleviation target in North Jakarta could be realized immediately.

Semper Barat Urban Village TP PKK Pokja IV Chairwoman, Sudarmi added that the assistance was much needed. In general, in Semper Barat, there are about 41 units of Posyandu with a total of 4,000 children under five.
