PT. JLI Collaborates with Perum PPD for Ticketing System Integration at JakLingko App

PT. JakLingko Indonesia (JLI) is collaborating with Djakarta Public Passenger Trasportation Company (Perum PPD) in order to develop a payment integration system and solution for ordering or purchasing ticket (ticketing) via JakLingko application.

Hopefully, people can use the services conveniently and comfortably without having to buy manual tickets, but via JakLingko application

According to the plan, development for ticketing feature at JakLingko application would be implemented in a number of transportation units owned by the Perum PPD on various routes, both in and out of the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek).

PT. JLI President Director, Muhamad Kamaluddin commended that the Perum PPD for entrusting his company to explore ticketing integration with integrated payment systems via JakLingko SuperApp.

Ordering ticket via app is considered to facilitate the community in carrying out activities that have been integrated with public transportation in Greater Jakarta without having to bring a private vehicle.

"Hopefully, people can use the services conveniently and comfortably without having to buy manual tickets, but via JakLingko application," he remarked on Saturday (2/19).

Perum PPD President Director, Pande Putu Yasa appreciated the JakLingko which had completed the phase 1 on September 29, 2021. In Phase 2, his side would support the integrated Perum PPD bus ticketing service via JakLingko application.

He added that it was done on Minister of Transportation's instruction thus PPD bus users are integrated with other transportation modes, which is expected to encourage more people to use public transportation.

"This synergy makes it easier for people to use facilities that have been built," he mentioned.

For information, collaboration between PT. JLI and PPD was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Integration of Payment System and Operation Ticket Solution for PT. JakLingko Indonesia's Shuttle Service by PT. JLI President Director, Muhamad Kamaluddin and Perum PPD President Director, Pande Putu Yasa, on Friday (2/18).

The signing was witnessed by various stakeholders, including representatives of public transportation users, Jakarta City Transportation Council (DTKJ), Directors of Jatelindo Perkasa Abadi Indonesia (JPAI), Directors of Perum PPD, and others.
