Jakipa 2014 Went Glorious

Plaza Taman Monas, Central Jakarta became the place of Jakarta International Performing Art (Jakipa) 2014 opening. This event shows local and international art festival. Most of the visitors were delightful.

"It was very entertaining me. I've never seen this before," said Nita (26), one of the visitors, Sunday (12/7).

She wished there will be many similar event to be held to entertain the capital citizen from their daily problem as traffic jam and flood.

10 International Art Groups will Enlighten Jakipa 2014

Jakarta Tourism and Culture (Disparbud) Head, Arie Budhiman said, besides the local culture, this event also shows the art and culture show from 10 art groups performer from five countries such as England, France, Australia, Japan, and Indonesia. "Not only focused in physical construction, but Jakarta also must held this cultural event routinely in the future," he said.

Budhiman hoped this event will invite 5,000 people or more up to the end. "I hope this event can be used as media communication between artists, sharing information, knowledge, and experience," he disclosed.
