Residents Enthusiastically Enjoy Cheap Market at Pondok Kopi Urban Village Office

Residents dominated by mothers are enthusiastic about enjoying cheap staple food products sold by PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya in the office yard of Pondok Kopi Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on Thursday (2/24).

Hope it can become a routine agenda to help resident in meeting cheap basic needs

Pondok Kopi Urban Village Head, Siska Leonita said the cheap market that was realized in collaboration with PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya offered 5-kg rice Rp 45,000, flour Rp 8,900, sugar Rp 12,500 per kg, and 1.8-liter cooking oil Rp 25,500.

"We also provide per package worth Rp 95,000 and also per item. Especially for cooking oil, every person only has two quotas," she said.

Good News, Food Station Opens Cheap Market along February

Wati (43), one of buyers expressed she knew the market from the RT which shared via WhatsApp group. She bought two packaging bags of cooking oil which were cheaper than in the market.

"Hope it can become a routine agenda to help resident in meeting cheap basic needs," she stressed.

Then another buyer, Parman Hadi (47) admitted he took advantage of this market moment to buy daily necessities.

"The price is cheaper than the market, so the rest of the money can be spent on other needs," he admitted.
