The storm drains construction along Jalan Letjen Suprapto, RW 07, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Central Jakarta has been completed.

It is done to overcome inundation on the road when it rains heavily

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Head, Reza Febiyanto mentioned, its construction was started at the end of January by making 14 drains on the roadside along 200 meters, with a distance of 6 meters between the drains.

"Those drains have a width and height of 40 centimeters with 3.5 meters length," he said, Saturday (2/26).

His side deployed 6 personnel to make them manually using crowbars, hoes, sledgehammers , and so forth. The work was focused on one side of the road, from in the front of the C'One Hotel until the BPJS Kesehatan Head Office.

"It is done to overcome inundation on the road when it rains heavily," he conveyed.
