Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing Officially Renamed to Jalan Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani

The 5.9-kilometer Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing which connects Jalan Raya Bekasi to Cilincing and Tanah Merdeka Bus Terminal intersection has officially renamed Jalan Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani.

We have installed it since Monday (2/7) in three locations

The inauguration of street renaming was led by Indonesian Vice President, Ma'ruf Amin. It was carried out in conjunction with Tuhfah al-Qashi wa ad-Dani Book Review, Turots Ulama Nusantara Exhibition, and Launching of Kompilasi 11 Kitab Ulama Nusantara at Sultan Hotel Auditorium, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/8).

North Jakarta Secretary's Acting Assistant for Economy and Development, Ardan Solihin said, his side had replaced the road signs with the new ones which were technically carried out by the North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency.

"We had installed the signs in three locations on Monday (2/7)," he added, Wednesday (2/9).

He explained, there were three new road signs installed at the starting points of Jalan Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani. Those were at the intersection across from Tanah Merdeka Tactical Post, the intersection of Marunda Access Road, and the intersection of Jalan Madya Kebantenan.  

According to him, the process of renaming the road had been socialized and received approval from residents.

"All road signs have been installed on the roads that lead to Jalan Raya Bekasi. We also continue to repair and carry out road maintenance, such as repairing the road curbs," he mentioned.
