The Sulaeman connecting channel's 25-meter-long collapsed sheet pile, Jalan Nusa Indah, Cipinang Indah Housing Complex, RW 01 Cipinang Muara, Jatinegara, East Jakarta is still under repair or has reached 80 percent.

It is targeted to be completed within five days ahead

Jatinegara Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force Coordinator, Tamrizal said the repair was carried out with 25 meters in length, 120 centimeters in height, and 25 centimeters in width. It has been ongoing since a week ago.

"To repair, we have sent around 10 workers to the location," he expressed, Tuesday (3/1).

He added the sheet pile collapsed after being eroded by water. The workers used river stones and installed a water pipe in the center of the sheet pile as flutes to absorb water.

"It is targeted to be complete within five days ahead," he stated.
