Pinang Ranti Distributes 16 Food Packages to Self-Isolating Residents

The Pinang Ranti Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta has distributed 16 food aid packages from Jakarta Social Agency to residents who are undergoing self-isolation at home.

Assistance is handed over according to health protocols

Pinang Ranti Urban Village Head, Haris Indrianto stated, those 16 packages were taken from the Bina Insan Bangun Daya 2 Ceger Social Shelter, Cipayung through 4 PPSU personnel accompanied by one urban village ASN. They were then sent to RWs, RTs, and then residents who are undergoing self-isolation at home.

"F ood packages are distributed without direct interaction with residents who are exposed to COVID-19," she asserted.

According to him, it was given in form of 20 kilograms of rice, 7 cans of sardines, 2 liters of cooking oil, 1 can of biscuits, and 1 carton of instant noodles.

It was recorded that 181 food aid packages had been given to residents who were undergoing self-isolation in the region from January to February. Some of them tested negative after further PCR test was carried out.
