Graha Wisata Ragunan Provides 94 Beds to Isolate Covid-19 Patients

The South Jakarta administration is working with all stakeholders to provide more facilities to house asymptomatic coronavirus patients or those with mild-severe symptoms to self-isolate, as the number of daily Covid-19 transmissions continues to hit new highs in Jakarta.

This action follows on the central government's mandate

"This action follows on the Central Government's mandate to reactivate the Covid-19 posts, including disaster posts in each urban village and sub-district," stated South Jakarta City Secretary, Ali Murtadho, Sunday (2/13).

His party also set up another quarantine center with 94 beds at the Graha Wisata Ragunan, including prepare its supporting facility and medical team.

"It's ready to use. We try to suppress the spike in Covid-19 cases in Jakarta," he stressed.

He added hospitals were also ready to house patients with moderate and severe symptoms.

"As for the Graha Wisata Ragunan is just for people who are undergoing self-isolation. South Jakarta residents who were exposed to this day are still being isolated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran," he added.

Aside that, his party also disseminated about restrictions on people's mobility during PPKM level 3.

"Including state civil apparatuses (ASN) in South Jakarta, where they can't go on leave and go out of town," he asserted.
