January-February, 4,311 Trees Pruned in South Jakarta

The South Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency has pruned 4,311 trees in 10 sub-districts in January-February 2022 period.

Thousands of trees have been pruned in January-February 2022

South Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Winarto said his side routinely prunes trees that are prone to fall.

"Thousands of trees have been pruned in January-February 2022, consisting 2,521 for moderate pruning, 840 trees for heavy pruning, and 152 trees are cut down," he explained, Thursday (3/3).

Arrangement Work Intensified in Panggang Island Urban Village

It was carried out to follow up requests from residents and monitoring of personnel in the field.

"Total 34 falling trees and 35 splintered trees have been reported in the period," he stated.
