Bank DKI - Food Station Join Hands to Develop Business Ecosystem

Bank DKI and PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work closer together on food security in Jakarta.

Every year, Bank DKI also distributes working capital loans, overdraft loans to Food Stations, and supply chain financing loans to suppliers. Last year, we also gave commercial credit to Food Station

At the same time, they also made a signing on MSME credit agreement for the Cipinang Rice Main Market traders.

Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy said the company was ready to support the Food Station business ecosystem by becoming a one-stop banking service solution through digital banking services to visitors and traders of the Cipinang Rice Main Market.

They have very promising business potential for lending, both for MSMEs and commercial. With a total of 298 traders, they are a good market for MSME lending.

"Every year, Bank DKI also distributes working capital loans, overdraft loans to Food Stations, and supply chain financing loans to suppliers. Last year, we also gave commercial credit to Food Station," he stated, Friday (3/11).

His party also entered the market ecosystem by providing a payment system and implementing non-cash transactions to provide transaction convenience for visitors and Food Station traders. One of them was by providing payment and transaction systems to support cheap food programs for residents through Bank DKI's EDC.

"Even, Bank DKI is also a payment system at the Food Station Webstore via virtual account and it will soon be integrated with JakOne Mobile and Bank DKI QRIS," he explained.

Including providing convenience in transactions for Food Station traders via the JakOne Bills service. Traders can pay online shop market maintenance fees and annual warehouse bills.

"The potential receipts for the two bills payment are estimated to bring in an income by Rp 43.2 billion for the Food Station," he added.

Previously, the bank had given merchant cards to Food Station traders. The card can function as an identity card, ATM card, and Bank DKI JakCard as a means of paying trader retribution.

To complete the digital ecosystem, they are also ready to support the implementation of an electronic parking payment system using JakCard and QR, including supporting the digitization of MSMEs in the Food Station environment by inviting all MSME traders to become JakOne Abank agents.

"With this collaboration, hope it is capable of strengthening the business ecosystem that has been built so far and have a positive impact in supporting food security in the capital," he hoped.

On that occasion, they also signed a cooperation agreement for the rice supply program for employees (Berkawan) represented by Bank DKI Finance Director, Romy Wijayanto and PT FSTJ President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo.

Jakarta BUMD's Development Agency Acting Head, Budi Purnomo hoped that its collaboration could increase added value for both parties and support food security, as well as empower MSMEs in Jakarta.

"I also support the Beras Karyawan (Employee Rice) program which is expected to provide benefits to them," he exclaimed.

Then PT FSTJ President Director, Pamrihadi added it was an effort by his staff as one of the BUMD Foods in providing food needs in Jakarta.

"Besides helping the Food Station, the program also absorbs rice from farmers in various production centers," he stated.
