The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency has intensified population data recording for people with disabilities.

"We're about to provide door-to-door data recording service, especially for people with disabilities. Therefore, we can know the accurate data on the number of people with disabilities in Jakarta," he explained.
The service is provided for people with mental disorders, limitations, those who are bedridden, and the elderly.
"They can't come to the urban village office, thus the Dukcapil officer carries out data recording by visiting their homes," he stated.
On the other hand, Laraswati (17), a grade XII student of SLB A PTN Jakarta expressed her gratitude after receiving a data recording service that was held at school last week for e-ID card issuance.
"Now, I have an e-ID card. This card will be used to register for college, create a bank account and get scholarships," she said happily.
She also thanked the agency officers for providing the best service and being patient when helping her and other students with disabilities to record their data for e-ID cards and child identity cards (KIA).
"Thank you for the service and patience of the officers when recording population data. They understand very well that our conditions are not the same as other people," she conveyed.
