Kelapa Island COVID-19 Task Force Reminds People to Comply with Health Protocols

The Kelapa Island Urban Village COVID-19 Task Force team, North Thousand Islands intensifies health protocols socialization to residents who often go in and out of the island.

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head Irfan Damanhuri stated that socialization was carried out in the main pier, tourist destinations, and residential areas.

"We monitor and socialize health protocols to boat passengers departing and arriving at the main pier," he said, Saturday (3/26).

It was carried out by directing passengers to wash their hands at handwash facilities provided, check their body temperature, and check their vaccination certificate through PeduliLindungi app.

"We also ensure them to wear mask properly," he added.

Using loudspeakers, the task force also went to tourist destinations and residential areas to warn residents to comply with health protocols and not to cause crowding.

"They also distribute masks to residents and tourists who wear mask that are not suitable for use," he stated.
