"I want you to remind and educate people to develop Jakarta into an orderly and comfortable city during Ramadan, thus people can worship comfortably and peacefully. We carry out patrols in various places where PMKS are located. We educate and warn them, then we send them for coaching with the Social Agency," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, Monday (3/21).

He further stated that violation and disturbance to public order such as the circulation of alcoholic beverages and immoral practices would also be targeted in monitoring during Ramadan month.

TNI/Police officers were also involved in the monitoring to intensify the patrol to anticipate disturbances to public peace and order thus the situation remains safe during Ramadan. Besides, health protocols monitoring would continue to be carried out.

"Although COVID-19 handling is getting better, it doesn't mean we ignore health protocols. We will take firm action against violators as stipulated in the Bylaw as a guide in carrying out our duties. We must continue to protect the community, remind them, educate them to understand and comply with regional regulations," he mentioned.
