PPKUKM Agency Sets Aside Rp 19.2 Billion to Rehab Seven Loksem This Year

The Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency has set aside Rp 19.2 billion to rehab seven coached locations (loksem) in three areas of Jakarta.

They will be in light to moderate rehabilitation with work focused on replacing the loksem awning spandex

Those seven loksem are JS 26 Barito, JS 30 Barito, and JS 25 Barito in Kebayoran Baru (South Jakarta), JB 008 on Jalan S Parman, Grogol Petamburan (West Jakarta), JP 47 on Jalan Sukadana, JP 59 on Jalan Cibunar, and JP 60 on Jalan Pembangunan I (Central Jakarta Pusat).

"They will be in light to moderate rehabilitation with work focused on replacing the loksem awning spandex," said PPKUKM Agency Head Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Friday (4/1).

She explained that it is still in the document preparation stage and is predicted to be executed in mid-2022 with a processing time of about two months.

"The planning document will later become a document that is brought for the submission of the tender process," she explained.

According to her, the project could raise the business spirit of the coached MSMEs. Moreover, the perceived multiplier effect not only supports the aesthetics of the city but also has a positive influence on the economy of the MSME sector.

"By so, the loksem will be neater, so it can become a magnet that can attract many shoppers," she said.
